Solely a few hours to go and we’ll say goodbye 2018 and welcome 2019.
I wish to say a BIG Thank You to you all, on your help by way of out the yr and for all of your love. It does imply the world to me, that you just all are right here to share my journey with me and The Beagles.
Trying again, 2018, the 12 months of the Canine, it was a whirlwind. It was loopy, it was great, filled with adventures, love, making recollections, photographing canines, travelling, household …
I used to be fortunate sufficient to discover new locations across the globe, from photographing canines in Cairo on the Pyramids, to capturing canines in Paris, New York Metropolis, Cancun, Germany and Malta. As you may know, I’m a traveller, I all the time have been, so hold your eyes open, as a result of 2019 will likely be thrilling.
2018 was the yr of ticking of bins on our #bucketlist and likewise a yr of seeing a few of the Wonders of the World, just like the Pyramids in Cairo and Mexico, each on my checklist of locations to see since I used to be a bit of lady and began studying all of the books in regards to the Egyptians and Maya’s. Sure, I’m a geek and proud to be one 🙂 And as a few of you realize, my dream was to take Porthos & Lucy Beagle to Paris, to take a photograph with them in entrance of the Eiffel Tower. And that is what we did. We packed the automotive and drove all the way in which to the Metropolis of Love and we obtained THE picture.
Porthos and Lucy Beagle, my coronary heart canines, their yr was full of adventures. From heading to Paris, to visiting canine vogue exhibits, having business picture shoots to lazing within the solar and working on the seashore. Porthos did have fun his tenth Barkday and I don’t know the place the final 10 years have gone …
I used to be fortunate sufficient to fulfill some superb and great shoppers this yr, some which grew to become good pals. I’m very grateful, that they selected me to create images and recollections of their furry companions. Every canine leaves their paw prints in my coronary heart and I’m very honoured to inform their story. 2018 was full of each, glad and unhappy tales and a few furbabies needed to make their manner over the rainbow bridge. However they’ll by no means be forgotten.
And like annually, I met rescue canines on the HULA Animal Rescue and Rspca Blackberry Farm Animal centre, telling their story and serving to a bit of, to allow them to discover their furever houses.
So what’s going to 2019 carry? No plans made, I’ll see the place the wind will carry us and what adventures will come our manner. However I do know, 2019 will likely be dogtastic 🙂
I hope you all may have an exquisite New Years Eve. “Guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr” – how we are saying it in Germany 🙂 Joyful New 12 months.
Love Bridget and The Beagles 🙂
