    We first met Izzy Nesci when she was 15 and led a membership at NYC’s Trevor Day Faculty devoted to supporting Wild Tomorrow’s work. Via bake gross sales and different inventive student-led initiatives, Izzy and the membership raised donations that helped fund the introduction of particular person giraffe and zebra at Wild Tomorrow’s Ukuwela Reserve in South Africa. In her ultimate 12 months of highschool, Izzy traveled to South Africa as a volunteer with Wild Tomorrow, ‘assembly’ the giraffe and zebra at Ukuwela, serving to out on the group kindergarten, eradicating fencing to open habitat, aiding dehorn rhinos, and serving to paint our new ranger camp. She didn’t cease there, and all through her College research, she continued her assist as a volunteer at our occasions together with main Wild Tomorrow’s annual “Standup for Wildlife” Comedy Evening fundraiser. As Izzy now graduates with a level in Environmental Research and Sustainability from Barnard Faculty, she’s excited that her commencement might help fund academic alternatives for different younger folks, ladies, and wildlife rangers.
