Strzegom Spring Open: Star-Studded Lineup for the Season Opener

    Over 220 horses, opponents from 13 international locations, and star athletes — this 12 months’s first worldwide eventing competitors in Poland begins on Friday, 31 March, on the hippodrome in Morawa.

    The riders will participate in 4 worldwide short-format courses from 1*-Intro to 4*, in addition to three nationwide ones.

    Among the sport’s largest names signed as much as take part within the competitors, together with multi-medalist Michael Jung – a double Olympic champion, European, and World Champion. The German athlete brings fischerChipmunk, with whom he gained the workforce gold medal over the last world championships, in addition to Banderas, bred in Poland, in Bolków in Decrease Silesia. We may even see Sandra Auffarth from Germany, Olympic bronze medalist and world champion, and Dutch Merel Blom, the workforce bronze medalist of the World Equestrian Video games.

    The competitors begins on Friday with the dressage. Saturday is for the leaping and cross-country trial of nationwide competitions, and on Sunday, the cross-country for the worldwide courses.

    This would be the first version of the Strzegom Spring Open; the second will probably be held on April 20-23.
